Hillel D. Braude
Welcome to my website!
A bit about myself:

I am a medical doctor, philosopher of medicine and clinical ethicist and the author of "Intuition in Medicine: A Philosophical Defense of Clinical Reasoning." I am interested in the tacit dimensions of human experience, particularly in relation to clinical reasoning.

My main area of present research is in Neuroethics - the study of moral reasoning and the brain. This area of research interest includes emotion and affect, prereflective consciousness, and empathy. My approach applies insights derived from neuro-phenomenology to examine different aspects of medicine - clinical medicine and research ethics.

I am also a Feldenkrais practitioner - a practical method of self-improvement based on fundamental understanding of the human nervous system and neuroplasticity.
I am available for consultation as a clinical ethicist, research bioethicist, philosopher of medicine and public speaker.

Feel free to contact me for further information and inquiries.
